Vidya is a children's writer and editor, who wears many hats. She runs a content and design studio called Melting Pot that creates children's books and magazines for publishers and NGOs. She is one of the founder-members of Funky Rainbow (www.funkyrainbow.com), a travelling bookshop and book consultancy that is committed to bringing books and children together in exciting and innovative ways. She is also the managing editor of the children's book review site, Goodbooks (www.goodbooks.in). Her books for children include India A to Z: An Alphabetical Tour of Incredible India (Penguin), The Quirquincho and the Fox (Pratham), Lazy Rafael and The Missing Leg (Pages for Ages).
